University of Colorado Denver
UC Denver is one of Colorado’s premier research institutions, attracting significant amounts of federal and other research dollars. UC Denver offers more than 80 undergraduate, graduate, and doctorate-level programs. The University of Colorado Denver operates at two separate campuses. The Downtown Campus is located at the Auraria Campus, as well as a few other downtown locations. The Downtown Campus offers coursework in a variety of program areas, including architecture, arts and media, education, engineering, liberal arts, business, and public affairs. The UC Denver Downtown Campus served 13,100 students as of fall 2008.
Metro State College of Denver
Metropolitan State College of Denver is a four-year public institution offering 53 majors in several programs. Metro State was formed in 1965 and over the last several decades has become one of Colorado’s largest institutions of higher education. Metro State has over 21,700 students as of fall 2008.
Colorado State University: Denver Learning Center
The Denver Learning Center is an ideal solution for working professionals in the Denver area who want to further their education with the Colorado State University faculty and expertise, but aren’t able to commute to Fort Collins. The Denver Learning Center, located downtown on Tremont between 16th and 17th Streets, is in the heart of Denver's financial district and close to businesses, dining, shopping, and secure daytime and evening parking.
